and consistent operation of laboratories.
This
document is applicable to all organizations performing laboratory activities,
regardless of the number of personnel.
Laboratory
customers, regulatory authorities, organizations and schemes using
peer-assessment, accreditation bodies, and others use this document in
confirming or recognizing the competence of laboratories.
This manual covers all details of the
Quality Management System for [Laboratory Name,
Affiliated Authority] and complies with the requirements of ISO
17025 and ISO 9001. The management system covers activities carried out in the
main laboratory premises and includes a layout diagram of the main laboratory
facility attached to Appendix 1 [The laboratory
